Care to DanceOut of the corner of his eye he saw something. Or perhaps it was just his amazing senses. But something was up. Turning from his talk with Meulin he narrowed his eyes at what he saw. Leaving his moirail mid sentence he strode over to where Cronus was shoving Mituna around. Cronus's back was to him as he came up, none had noticed him yet. Behind him Meulin stared after him, worry written across her face as she bit her lip nervously. Before things could escalate too quickly, Kurloz tapped his kismesis on the shoulder making him spin around. He wasn't fast enough to dodge the fist that clocked his face. Killed his own girlfrond.
Destroyed the matriorb.
And killed Kanaya.
Karkat slumped to the floor, clutching his knees. Before he realized it, red tinged tears began falling down his face, a cascade of his sorrow.
A few minutes passes before he crawled over to where Kanaya lay, her jade blood pooling on the floor.
